Kids love Paw Patrol and the pup mania does not seem to be going away! A Paw Patrol themed party is one that’s popular with both boys and girls – because the pups are both boys and girls – and the number of great Paw Patrol party supplies you can find online is not only very extensive but very inexpensive as well. From invitations to goody bags, from masks and streamers to balloons and tableware decorating your party space with a Paw Patrol theme is easier – and a lot less expensive – than you might think.
However, once you have all the great Paw Patrol party supplies on hand, what games – and food choices – can you add to carry on the great rescue pup theme? Here are just a few ideas:
Bone-shaped sandwiches
Sandwiches are a party food staple and you can keep yours on theme for a Paw Patrol birthday party by cutting them out with a bone-shaped biscuit cutter. Just make sure you cut out each layer of the sandwich separately and then assemble it – it can get quite tricky otherwise!
If you’ve got time, you could even make bone-shaped biscuits as well. Ice them in advance or save that for a fun party activity!
Snacks in dog bowls
We love the idea of serving sweets and other snacks in dog bowls (just make sure they’re new and clean). You can usually pick up inexpensive dog bowls easily in supermarkets and pound shops and even find them in colours to match your brightly colored Paw Patrol party supplies.
Hand out Paw Patrol masks
Paw Patrol masks – which are easy to find at online party supply stores – are great for handing out to your guests when they arrive – and a fun way to get into character! Try to have a range of options on hand, as not every child will want to be Marshall!
Play Cat, cat, DOG!
This is the cat and dog version of duck, duck, goose. Get all the children to sit in a circle and choose one child to be ‘it’. This child must walk around the circle, patting each person on the head and saying ‘cat’ each time.
When this child pats someone on the head and says ‘dog’, the child who’s sat down must stand up and chase the other child around the circle to try and catch them. If the child who’s it reaches the other child’s space in the circle and sits down before they get caught, the other child is ‘it’.
